I was reading through our material and I just realized that although I say this is a group effort, I don't speak much about what the rest of the world could do to further earth's progressive healing. We ALL need to do our part if we are to leave a better world for our children. We don't all need to carry the weight of the world on our shoulders, but we all do need to stand up and take responsibility for the degradation of our own streets.
Now, our mission is to invite every man, woman, and child that we can possibly reach, to give our planet some tender love and care. With our new show we will have the potential to reach the common man/woman and help them become a major influence in their own communities by participating in massive flash mobs that will be undertaking huge jobs that will be driving neighborhoods further into self- sustainability.
We will be attempting to visit every single state in America, unfortunately, we can't go visit each and every one of you personally, but that doesn't mean you've missed an opportunity to contribute, as large or as tiny as you envision. Opportunities are literally everywhere. It may take some time and creativity to learn to recognize them, but if you just spend a short amount of time daily focusing on ways you can help your direct environment, you WILL find those ways.
In the great words of Jim Morrison in the movie Wayne's World, " If you build it, they will come." I challenge you with this. If you think, the answers will come.
Below we have constructed a list of things you could do in your own community and your immediate surroundings to give our earth another good breath of fresh life.
1. Give one person an honest compliment daily.
2. Say hello to your neighbors.
3. Make sandwiches for the needy.
4. Collect blankets for the cold.
5. Collect clothing for the naked.
6. Visit hospitals, retirement homes, and animal shelters and help bring one of earth's citizens a smile or an ear to speak to.
7. Build gardens in your area.
8. Clean your room.
9. Ride a bicycle.
10. Take the bus.
11. Eat healthy.
12. Smile in the mirror at yourself every morning.
13. Give yourself an honest compliment daily.
14. Stop using and buying things with chemicals.
15. Read a book.
16. Pick up a hobby.
17. Love yourself first, and the world will shine brighter for it. Show others to do the same.
18. Do things outside.
19. Go for frequent walks.
20. Yoga.
21. Meditation.
22. Massage therapy.
23. Take a one day course in something you are interested in.
24. Learn to appreciate the little things in life.
25. Check on the elderly in your neighborhood.
26. Adopt a pet.
27. Grow your own food.
28. Raise your own livestock.
29. Give your friends a phone call.
30. Go to the park.
31. Visit your natural parks.
32. Go camping.
We'll be posting more when we think of them.
As you can see from this list, there are tons of easy and free ways to help transform our world one action at a time. Get your friends involved so that you can acheive a greater impact in a single effort. That's the secret behind making big things happen, if every person on this planet picked up a single piece of trash off the street every single day the world we thought we knew, will return to thrive again. That's what we hope to achieve, a global awareness of how important we are as individuals.
